New "Spider-Man" photos

What did you think of the new "Spider-Man" photos. Spider-man looked great as usual. And unlike some I love the Green Goblin's it looks very modern and scary and with F/X,sound(Willem Dafoe rocks), and lighting it can only get better.

I am very disappointed with the look of this film thus far. The Goblin looks like a joke -there is hardly any look at the insanity of the character when he is wearing a mask (could this just be something he wears when flying about?).

Spider-man looks like he's jumped out of a 1940's t.v comic book series. But could that just be one of Peter Parker's early suits when he is wrestling, cause i have seen a number of pictures from the film now, and he looks to be wearing a rubber suit, this seems to be a spandex one.

I'm not even sure if these were photos of actual people. They looked like they were in rigor mortis.

That said, the Green Goblin outfit sucks out the ass. I'm a firm believer in "less is more." They overdid it with the glitz on that costume. Something out of the comic book itself, maybe spiced up a bit, would be fine. This looks horrible.

I don't like them either. I was having high hopes for this film, but it seems that Raimi is taking a campy approach. It's not necessarily a bad thing since I really dig "Darkman" (a hugely misunderstood movie), but I was sort of hoping for the "ultimate" superhero movie. Serious, dark and intelligent. But I guess this won't be it. Well, there is still Hulk coming...
