Where's SHOWTIME with De Niro, Eddie Murphy and Rene Russo? It opens July 19.

I think you are being too hopeful, dh1989. I don't think there has ever been FIVE 200+ million crossers in one summer. And while MIB2 will make horseloads of money, it's unlikely to have the crossover must-see status that is needed to make over 300 million. Episode 2 crossing more than 450 million? Hmmm... Well, I guess it is theoretically possible, even if I seriously doubt it. 250-350 million seems more likely.

Damn dh1989, you are givin Spy Kids 2 way too much credit or whatever, yea the first made about $107m but it will not do double of what it made the first time. It may make about $100m less then what you said at about $135m or maybe even less.

You are underestimating the Power Puff Girls, It has quite the "cult" following. LOL or whatever you wanna call those girls that do. But, I think it'll do better than $20m.

MIB2 and Minority Report will probably do good, but not that good, MIB made $250m, so it's doubtful for a sequel to make a whole $100m more, so I'd say about also $100m less on each.

Other than that, your list seems pretty fine they way it is, unless I've missed something http://www.joblo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

It's too early to be thinking about next summer already. Especially after this summer's crop of turkeys at the theaters. Personally I'm looking forward to November/December right now, and when the movies get bad again around March/April next year, I'll start looking forward to the summer.

Tuukka, Episode II is nearly guaranteed to cross the $400 million mark. After all, if you use adjusted grosses, the lowest grossing Star Wars film is Return of the Jedi with $397 million.

I also think some of these predictions are way too hopeful.

You are probably right, I think it will end up around 350-450 million.
