does any one else agree they should make a part 2 and reveil who the killer was?
who was the killer any ideas

The killer was just a random nutjob with no identity. That's how it should stay. A sequel is completely unnecessary and would only taint the original's legacy.

Noway...the last thing I would want to see is Black Christmas get turned into a cheesy franchise like so many others. IMO, it's a stand alone film that is effective enough on its own. More would just ruin that.

Definitly not what would it be about.

A big Nuh-uh on that idea. BLACK CHRISTMAS should stay as it is for always.

It should stay solo, correct me if i am wrong but wasn't Carpenters intentions was to make a sequal to this and it turned out to be Halloween?

I highly Doubt a sequel is true becuase, not even the site www.upcominghorrormovies.com (http://www.upcominghorrormovies.com) has any info and that site has all the movies that are even rumored to come out

There's IS a Black Christmas 2 in disguise: "Halloween"... It was supposed to be a sequal, but they were unable to get the rights or something like that and the orginal creator of "Black Christmas" took his name off the project.

Uh oh...it looks like a sequel is being planned. Anyone who picked up this month's copy of Rue Morgue would be pleasantly surprised by the Black Christmas tribut in the back. However, and I quote:
"...they are considering a theatrical re-release and have plans to develop a sequel, which will star Saxon and some of the original cast."
Re-release is good news to me....but a sequel????

Its waaaaaaaay too late to make a sequel to this and besides I think its much better as a stand alone film. I also like the fact that it isn't well known. It makes the movie cooler. Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.
