Of course there's this rumour that Nic Cage is going to play the new Man of Steel.

It's also been Cage's dream to play superman.
I've seen this really embarrasing home video clip of him, he was trying to make his own movie and he dressed up a superman and tried to fly...really crap...but he was about 11

Like the Ghost Rider topic above, this one is tough to call. On the one hand, ever since X-Men, Hollywood has been clamoring to scoop up big name superheroes for new movies, so seeing Superman return to the big screen is by no means farfetched. The problem with this one, though, is that it's one of those movies that's been talked about for so long no one really knows when or if anything is actually going to happen with it.
