Is there for instance a official site somewhere of this upcomming movie?
I'm glad they didn't choose Tom Clancy's "Debt of Honor" to make a movie about, because at the end of the book something similar happens as the terrorist attacks in America two weeks ago. The only differences are: it's a Japanese guy Sato who commits the act (not because of a Jihad against the USA); he's a airline pilot; he makes an excuse to fly a 747 to Heathrow for repairs; there are no civilians in the plane, only a copilot whom Sato gets rid off; he flies alongside the Canadian/American border and when he reaches the state Washington he tells the airtraffic controltower the plane has engine problems and that the plane is damaged; the airtraffic controller tells him to land on an airport near Washington; the controller realizes too late that the plane doesn't want to land at a nearby airport; the 747 crashes into the Capitol where at that moment of time the president, vice-president and all members of the congress are; Jack Ryan becomes the new president because of this incident.
Very creepy this story, because it was written in 1994. Maybe the terrorists have read this book and came up with the idea. Tom Clancy said in an interview that he didn't write about these kind of terrorist attacks. Well, I know better!
