I read in some DVD mag that there was going to be another Exorcist film.
Anyone know anything?

It's going to be a prequel, set in the 1940's, dealing with Fr. Merrin and the first time he encountered the demon... yeah, I know, already done in EXORCIST II, but Hollywood is pretty lame as a whole. Warner Bros is releasing it, no names have been attached to star. I believe John Frankenheimer is directing, but don't quote me on that. All I do know is Linda Blair isn't going to be in it... and not by her choice.

well, i wouldn't see any point in having BLAIr's character in this prequel...

im not sure how many people will even want to see this..im a horror fan, but i will definitely wait until it hits the PPV scene...

is there ANYONE who is actually excited about seeing the priest encounter the demon??

This series is so bad, it's a shame. The first one is a classic, one of the best horror films I've ever seen (I just saw it for the first time last week).

The other ones...yeccch. Let it rest in peace.
