The Crow****[4 Stars]-This is with out a doubt the best movie ever made. This movie combines elements of action, horror, Heavy Metal soundtrack, and even a love story into one perfect film. Plus we got Eric Draven played by Brandon Lee which is the best and most devoloped character ever in a movie. Brandon Lee proves here that he is the number one actor of all time. Its such a shame that this was his last movie. There a lot of other great actors out there but there will never be an actor as great as Brandon Lee. Man I wish he was still alive today. Many actors need more than one movie to prove they are the best but Brandon Lee only needed one.

A couple good points Hannibal30817... I also am a big fan of this film, because it was really trueto the comic series which I enjoy... another tragedy for the Lee family, like father like son...

I like Crow, but the script is pretty weak. The basic setup is fine, but characters are cliched, dialogue is painfully bad and structure doesn't work. Also many of the supporting actors suck really badly.

Fortunately the film has a great visual style, some cool action, fine soundtrack and a good lead performance from Lee.

6/10 -Rather good.

BTW, I'm a great fun of comics, but never have liked the Crow which was just as badly written as the film, but lacked the great visual style.

I loved this movie...but hated the tackyness off the acting. Brandon Lee definatley proved hmself with this movie...but just like his father, when things were finally starting to go right in his career, something unfortunate happens. The visual effects, gothic atmosphere, kick ass fight scenes...and of course, the retsless spirit of Eric Draven... Lee's final performance was his best. "This is the really real world, there ain't no comin back" I rate it at 7/10.

The Crow is definitely a fantastic film. It is definitly the best of its kind since the first two Batman films. Beautiful dark settings, great performences and direction. Not perfect, but pretty close. 8/10

The Crow is an OK film, and the only thing that makes it "OK" rather than "really shitty" is Alex Proyas' direction. Proyas' Dark City is much better though.

Thank you Homer for mentioning Dark City. That was great flick, kinda like the Truman Show on Acid. And like the Crow (great concept, shotty acting and dialogue) all these Movies are driven by one underlining theme: The Creation of Man. What makes us human, What drives us, and Why the Fuck are we here!
p.s. the scene int the Crow where he kills all the bad guys upstairs in the Club is one of my top ten Bad Ass scenes. Make sure you crank the base and surround sound to get the full effect of it.
