Jackie and Jet in same film? The stuff of HK films fans wet dreams (or maybe that's just me). Will it work though? They both have different styles of acting and fighting. One relies on comedy and acrobatic stuntplay, where as the other favours serious stuff with wire-work. I am worried that in an effort to look good, one may overshadow the other. Should it be done in the style of Jackie, or the style of Jet. Or should it not be done at all?

I don't think it will be any one particular style but a combination of both. If Chan and Tucker can make 2 hit movies together then it would be easy for Jackie Chan to adapt to working with Jet Li. I also don't think any one of them would try to out do the other because they are such great friends and have so much respect for the other.
besides, it better work because i have been waiting for tis day for a very long time.

This is the first i've heard of this but it sounds exciting!!!
Lots of jet li's films have comedic moments in them! and he doesn't use wires for eveything!
He is many times a wushu champion, and if you've ever seen what wushu martial artists can do you know the wire work is just an extension of what jet can do.
Well for the action/fighting Yuen Woo Ping!!! He has choreographed both of them. Drunken Master 2 for jackie and Tai chi master for jet among numerous others.
Does anyone know the premise of the film? the title? when we can expect it?

i dont think that Woo Ping cherographed for DM2, but he did and directed the original Drunken Master. And yes, lots of Jet Li's movies are really funny. I thought the Legend and Bodyguard From Behjing were both very humerouuuuuus.

i've got the movies in question and i'll have to check the credits next time i watch them.
so does anyone know any more info about this movie?
