If you liked writer/director Guy Ritchie's debut film "Lock, stock and two smoking barrels", you are going to like this one as well. It has a similar, very complicated story about lots of criminals running after a huge diamond. Great acting all around, clever script and astonishing visuals. I don't usually care much for this kind of MTV style of filmmaking but Ritchie uses his flashy visuals to make the drama more powerful; his visual style actually brings more substance to the story. The film is quite funny and also very violent. Acting is superb all around and Pitt once again proves that he is not just a pretty boy.

I would rate this film slightly above LTA2SB, but then again, I saw it in cinema and I watched LTA2BS on video. If you like funny, violent and pulpy crime films with lots of style and little substance, this film is just for you.

8/10

yeah tuukka, snatch is great. There were some moments that i couldn't stop laughing like the scenes when bulleth tooth(Vinnie Jones) shoots a russian guy and the guy keeps living
or the dog that peeps,or when brad pitt hits a guy in a boxgame to hard so that he wins ,what wasn't the deal with the gangster.Dennis Farina is also very funny.I think this movie is better than lock stock and the 2 barrels. The cast is great, good humor and it's great to see the perfect visual style from Guy Ritchie.I would give it 8.5/10.
