I just saw Part 3 in 3-D and uncut at a midnight showing. It was one of the best times I have ever had at a movie theater. The 3-D is kick ass and the music and clothes are hilarious. Damn fun.

I've always prefered 4 in terms of the inventiveness of the death scenes (he uses a hacksaw and a corkscrew), but five is the best overall. In dissapointment terms, 8 blew, and 9 was ridiculous in more ways than I can count. We can keep our fingers crossed for Jason X though. /ubb/smile.gif

That is right. #9 is the only one I found to be entertaining. I thought all of the others was crap. Especailly #1.

the girl who played Jason's mom was horrible. I couldn't stop laughing, she was that bad. Not that the rest of the cast was much better.
Now, I'm not saying Jason Goes To Hell was great art. But, unlike any of the others, I found it to be atleast fun. That's more than I can say about #1-8.

i agree too, jason goes to hell was...bloody...gory...and pretty damn violent with lots of swearing..what else do u want from a jason movie? shit u got the best sex scene hands down, some of the goriest kills, and the resturaunt slaughter is to die for. and it also comes off as funny and the duke kicks ass as well. i actually like it better than 6

Part Four - *** (My favorite movie of the series. With big name stars like Corey Feldman and Crispin Glover making huge impressions, some of the most brutal kills, and characters that I actually were NOT completely one dimensional)
Part Three - *** (Jason gets his mask! And the kills and characters were improvements over the last two movies)
Part Six - *** (It was even more fun seeing Jason as a zombie! Tommy's character was developed really well in this movie.)
Part Two - **1/2 (Has my favorite heroine of all the films and a nice introduction to Jason)
Part One - **1/2 (Lol, when I was around 8 or so, this was one of my 'coming of age' films :D )
Part VII - ** (The 'Carrie' subplot was interesting, and the final fight was exciting, but otherwise it was rather meh)
Part V - * (With the exception of the body count, this film is crap)
Part VIII - * (Nice setting, but it's crap)
Jason X - 1/2* (Bad bad bad bad bad! And it's not bad in a 'so-bad-it's-good' kinda way either)
Jason Goes to Hell - NO STARS (Uh, don't even get me started)
