Rating:8/10
I was bored and decided to watch this because I usually watch movies I'm not intrested in when I'm bored. I decided to watch this because it seemed intresting and a lot of people liked it at Sundance. The story is about a man who used to be a real ladies man in college. Well, he gained a lot of weight after he graduated. He came up with a "Tao of Steve after reading a lot of books. He meets a woman who doesn't respond to his Tao. Well, he'll try his best to get her. I was surprised by this movie. Logue did a really good performance. The humor was also good. The problems with this movie was that the movie was going slow which was good(for a movie under 90 minutes), but the ending went TOO fast. Overall, I give this an 8. Logue's performance and the humor were dead on. A good independant movie.

I've been curious about this movie but I didn't know if it would be good or not. Maybe I'll check it out sometime...

Kickass f-ing flick. Donal Logue is phenomenal in this difficult role. His whole philosophy should be explored by every guy out there, if not for spiritual reasons, at least to get some tail.

Favorite scene: Steve and his buds are hanging out playing cards and they discuss what makes a "Steve" a "Steve" not a "Stan" (a "Stan" is a loser)... and when they describe the "Steve's" they have music from "The Great Escape" (Steve McQueen), "Hawaii Five-O" (Steve McGarrett) and "The Million Dollar Man" (Steve Austin)... Being a "Steve" is about as cool as being "The Fonz", "Vinnie Barbarino" and "Tyler Durden" rolled into one... Great Flick! /ubb/wink.gif
