Should they do this or should they not?

No...The trilogy was good..but we don't want overkill....Although "Wes Craven's New Scream" http://www.joblo.com/ubb/wink.gif could be cool...

Yeah, thinking about it the trilogy was good theres no point in making a saga. But I also agree with Horror Whore "Wes Cravens New Scream" would be good. I can just see it Neve Campbell as Herself
Ghostface as Himself

I think instead of "Scream 4" they should make a full length feature called "Stab" that really, really lampoons today's slasher flicks. It shouldn't be an outright comedy like "Scary Movie," but should be so tongue-in-cheek, so absurdly lame that it will be funny as well as scary. There should be the ghost-face killer, Tori Spelling as Sidney, and David Schwimmer too.

I don't like the title SCREAM 4. I think they should come up with something a little more creative. Evene "Wes Craven's New Scream" would be better. And if they put a little more suspense in it then sure...why not!

The Trilogy sucked only the first Scream was good. The second and the third ones were just a copy of the original.

To me,no title of a movie is worse than Lethal Weapon 4.

i thought that pretty much the entire cast of SCREAM said that the third one was the last that THEY would do??

if CRAVEN and WILLIAMSON are both on deck for the fourth one, then i wanna see it..if neither are in, i say fuck it..

the last thing i wanna see is the series ruined by a horrible fourth chapter..

At the end credits of 'Scream 2' on the commentary, Wes Craven says maybe he'll come back in four or five years to do another scream. He said they could call it Scream Redux.

If Craven and Williamson return then it could be good. Just stick with the gore and scares from 'Scream' and 'Scream 2'.

Sorry guys, I guess I'm in the minority that thinks that Scream films (all of them) are pretty lame. I just don't get the appeal...

I guess they shouldn't. I really liked all the Screams...

Scream (9/10)
Scream 2 (8/10)
Scream 3 (7/10)

But I think they are killing it. And I don't think they will make a fourth anyway. Not for a long time, at least. Scream 3 made a lot of money, but it didn't break $100 million like the first two.

Was anyone surprised by the twists in the final two parts of the trilogy? They weren't twists though. They really didn't achieve much at all particularily the second one. The film buff and mothers charcters had been barely touched on and that film director in the third one was a bit too obscure to actually make it believeable.
