who is replacin aaliyah in the matrix sequels?

Last I heard the frontrunner was Eva Mendez, but as yet no one has been cast.

Although she is not as beautiful as Aaliyah and certainly doesn't know english to well, I think Zhang Ziyi from Crouching Tiger would be excellent!! She brings an impressive action element to an already action packed movie!! I think it would be easier to tutor her english than to teach some model how to do Kung Fu....
