Whadda you get when you add the premise of a cheesy horror flick, the same kind of plot as INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS, the sheer hotness of Jordana Brewster?
You get THE FACULTY.
PREMISE:
It's your average "Aliens take over kinda flick" with just a little bit more of a suspense, teen-shock factor.
It's all about what a lot of kids think: Their teachers are aliens from another planet. But these aliens wanna take over the planet, not just live here and get a shitty paycheck and have to deal with kids who mouth off and call the PRICKS.
The films characters are a little cliche: Ones a jock, one of them is a geek, one of them is a priss, one of them is a stoner and the other is a loner. A "little" cliche,eh?
Well, the teachers inhabit their victims by sticking this little worm type-thingy in peoples ears and they drink lots of water to survive on Earth and they become super human.
WHY DIDN'T I LIKE IT?
It was a little too cliche for my liking. The plot, the characters, the whole mess of it all. And the dialogue sucked.
WHAT I DID LIKE was the cheesy thing it had going for it. It was your average cheesy teen-horror flick.
But, too bad the shit against it was stacked just a little too high.
BOTTOM LINE:
A good cheesy horror flick but the shit's stacked a little too high!
