Body Shots (Tara Reid, Amanda Peet)

It's been over a year since I've seen it and I'll never forget how bad it was!!!
Body Shots promises to be a hip movie about sex and dating in the 90's, and that's what I expected to get. Unfortunately, that's not what it was. Body Shots is not the exciting and sexy movie it should've been, instead it's a depressing movie about date rape. And there's nothing sexy about that. This movie is boring with uninteresting characters and a shitty script, and that's being too nice. After about 30 minutes into the movie I pretty much gave up on it and decided to sit back and watch the movies stars drink, puke, and talk about sex. And trust me, it's not as interesting as it sounds. The last half an hour or so has to deal with the date rape thing. And what this movie starts, it doesn't finish, we don't even know what's going to happen. Fortunately, I just didn't give a shit. I like Amanda Peet, Tara Reid, Brad Rowe, Sean Patrick Flannery, and Jerry O'connell, but even the cast couldn't make this a good movie. I rented this expecting a hip sex/dating movie, but instead I got a social commentary on date rape... This movie was boring and it wasn't fun to sit through. I don't recommend it to anyone...

Yeah this movie was horrible, I watched it because it had Ron Livingston in it, and he didn't have enough screen time. He was probably the best character in the entire movie and they give him no screen time. Anywho I'd have to go ahead and say it's 1/10. Hated this movie bigtime.

What about the scene where after Jerry O' my God I suck worse than Freddie Prinze (is that actually possible?) Connell gets into that horrifically unbelievable fight and that dude and girl have that intensely retarded sex scene outside, against the fence, everyone mysteriously disappears and no one sees them?! Yah Ok.
(spoilers) the most fucking dissapointing thing about this movie (aside from the fact I lost two hours of my life watching it) is that my intrpretation of the End is: a. Jerry O'connells character was soo drunk he doesn't actually remember what happened and then b. it turns out in the very end you find out Tara Reids dumb hore ass Does'nt Remember anything Either. She was in a blackout!! So she doesn't even know if she consented! Moral of the story is: Don't drink so fucking much that you don't remember fucking people!

I thought it had a great cast that was totally wasted. But, yeah seeing TARA REID'S tits made me feel much better. I enjoyed some parts of the movie (JERRY O'CONNELL'S fight with that hard ass black dude) ,but it really did go downhill after 45 mins. The ending sucked too.

Maybe a 5/10... worth checking out if you got nothing better to do, and you don't mind a film that is only marginally better than some tv movies. And don't buy it. Rent it, if you must. The least money spent possible is the way to go.

By the way, has anyone seen the UNRATED VERSION, is it much different than the "R" VERSION? I doubt it is because they usually never are but I'm just curious.
