the directorial debut of Usual Suspects writer Chris McQuarrie. The movie is about 2 low-rent criminals Parker (Ryan Phillipe) and Longbaugh (Benicio Del Toro) who kidnap a surrogate mother holding a mob boss's kid. Put simply, I enjoyed it. good dialogue, some tite performances by James Caan as the aging bag man, Phillipe and Toro as the criminals, and Taye Diggs and Nicky Katt as the bodyguards. it has a good shootout at the conclusion, and a hilarious opening 6 minutes.
