Eating Raoul is a 1982 film. It's about a conservative couple (The Blands) who move into a new apartment buiding only to find that all the tenants there are swingers. What this means is lots of shock in the faces of the new couple. When hardship hits, the couple soon accidentally discover that these horny neighbors tend to carry lots of cash on them -- You know, lots of wild props are always needed for sex parties.
So, the couple makes their next decision which is to start killing them. They put an ad in the local singles section and the money starts rolling in.
Eventually they come across a con artist named Raoul who discovers their secret. Raoul wants a piece of the action, and besides, he knows this guy who can get rid of the bodies. So, they have no choice but to hook up with Raoul and lead off into one strange film.
Check this film out if you are into campy, odd-ball stuff, or if you are into black humour, and dry comedy. I found it to be very funny and original. The low production lends much to the sleezy atmosphere.
The couch seduction scene is a stand-out.
