Just a suggestion for this forum. (not posted in site suggestions because it really only pertains to this one discussion forum)
I'd encourage everyone before creating their own new thread on a movie to do a search (takes thirty seconds) to see if there is already a video capsule for the movie you wish to discuss.
Since this is a discussion board I think its worthwhile to utilize past thoughts as well as to reduce the clutter on the board. A lot of the past reviews are well thought out and may even have parts that one doesnt agree with....all the better to discuss.
Just a quick search turned up 4 casules on reservoir dogs, 5 on Pulp Fiction, 3 on Natural Born Killers, 3 on Pleasantville, 3 on Clerks, etc. etc.

What do you mean by searching?
By typing queries in the site's search engine, I have no such luck. Is that possible?

psudoazn, when you click on the search button under the "post new topic" or "post reply" buttons, it should take you to a page that allows you to search for a topic. However, you must choose if it is the "title" of the topic or if it is found throughout the "entire message". Also it gives you the ability to choose what forum. What are you doing exactly that doesn't allow you to search?
I'm going to be leaving for awhile, I'll get back to you on your question PackBacker.

Good call, Fergus....
Thanks for telling me...its definitely something that schmoes should know about. I was using the search engine on the joblo home page (its a slightly different format).

Thought I would bump this to the top. Fergus feel free to tell me to back the hell off but Ive been gone awhile so thought I'd come back by stepping on some toes (not yours mind you) http://www.joblo.com/ubb/wink.gif
Just thought people would benefit from searching the archive rather than starting a new thread for Pulp fiction, BW2, et al.

Well, the video capsules are our place to post reviews, so the topics aren't about the movies as much as they are about our review of the movie. I think that is what the discussion is mostly about.
An example is that Brock Landers, and UrbanLegend both posted different, contrasting reviews of Easy Rider. I don't see either topic as being about easy Rider as much as it being about Brock and ULs appreciation for the movie, and that is what the responses usually entail.
In short, I guess I'm saying that I don't think multiple video capsules are a bad thing as long as they are not sepreate topics covering the exact sam opinion - (ie. 200 topics reading "LOTR (10/10)!"
There's my nickle.

But wouldnt it be much easier to have one (even two) threads for a film. You can have the 10s and 2s in one thread and see why one person hated it while you loved it. You can argue over whether the storyline was childish or sheer brilliance, if the special effects were the coolest you had seen or over-the-top, etc.
Just my dime, but personally I enjoy reading different opinions and having them all in one thread.
