Chasing Amy.
Cast: Ben Affleck, Joey Lauren Adams, Jason Lee.
Review: A very well-written film with many funny scenes, but most of all, a wonderful love story. Kevin Smith is such a great writer and this film proves that. The diologue in this film just sounds so real and natural. The car scene where Holden (Ben Affleck) tells Joey Lauren Adams (sorry, can't rememebr her characters name) that he loves her is the best in film.
Jason Lee is especially good in this more serious role (sure, it is still a very funny movie, but compared to his role in Mallrats...). He comes across as very believable and very likable. Ben Affleck does well too as the confused comic artist in love. Joey Lauren Adams is wonderful in this film too. Whenever i saw her on screen, i couldn't help but smile.
One thing i did expect more of in this film was Jay and Silent Bob. Don't rent this film expecting a shitload of dick and fart jokes courtesy of those two, cuz they are only in the film for one scene which is about 5 minutes long. Their scene is still great and one of the best in the movie. Don't worry though. You won't miss them in this romantic comedy (yep, ROMANTIC).
Overall, this is just a great film with a very likable cast and charecters and i cannot wait to watch it again.
