"About Adam" is an irish comedy about...well, Adam(Stuart Townsend). Lucy(Kate Hudson) spots him at a cafe and they begin dating. Lucy soon sees that he's really something else and falls in love with him. But what Lucy doesn't know, is that Adam has a thing for her sisters as well, and quite possibly her brother.
Although the movie came out in 2000, it was just released here in Finland, I'm guessing because of "Almost Famous". Filmed in Ireland, this movie has a really down-to-earth feel and all the cast nails the accent very well.
Overall the cast is perfectly portrayed. Stuart Townsend, who almost played Aragorn in Peter Jackson's trilogy, is the hunk that everybody seems to like. All the sisters(Hudson, Frances O'Connor and Charlotte Bradley) play very well together and could be mistaken for real sisters.
The movie is in no way a life-altering experience. Just a lot of fun and excitement.
With a running time of little over one and a half hour it's not much to ask to give this little gem a chance.
