I AM SAM (2002)

I finally got around to watching it and I must say it was a pleasant surprise. I thought it would be good but I had no idea it would be GREAT.

It was a funny, sweet, sad, good hearted, and adorable movie.

Michelle Pfeiffer and Sean Penn were great. But the real surprise here was the little girl----she was wonderful. Such mature acting for a kid her age. All three did a GREAT job. The movie kept me interested and involved the whole time.

I was surprised at what a GREAT and underrated film this is. I loved every minute of it and it's one of the best of 2002. This and PANIC ROOM are the only two movies so far of 2002 that I've given a grade of at least a 9/10 to.

I AM SAM is wonderful and I highly recommend it. It was very touching. A real treat.

Grade: 9/10
