call me crazy, but there's a part of me that wants to see this sappy story... keanu and charlize back on screen together again?! yippee!! i think this will be cute

I also want to see this movie. The title and story remind me of the recent movie Autumn In New York with Richard Gere and Winona Ryder but that doesn't bother me all that much. It does look good but the story is nothing original. The main reason I want to see this movie is because Charlize Theron is in it, she's awesome. I enjoyed her in Reindeer Games and Trial and Error... I'm a male and although I'm more into suspense/horror/thrillers, I don't mind a sappy drama every once in awhile. But after this one Hollywood should slow down a bit, there's been quite a few lately. Stepmom, One True Thing,Bounce,Autumn In New York, Here On Earth, and now Sweet November... Although Sweet November is more along the lines of Autumn In New York and Here On Earth... Anyway, I'll probably wait to see this on video though...

BTW, this movie is a remake of a 1968 film of the same name starring Sandy Dennis as Sara and Anthony Newley as Charlie (Nelson). (The oldie has just been re-released on video and can be found online at amazon.com and like sites.) The original was very sweet. There are some differences, so I am interested in seeing this updated version for comparison.

it's a remake?! i had no idea! but if this is supposed to be similar to autumn in NY, i don't know... didn't autumn in NY supposedly suck?? i'm not sure though. but i definately want to see keanu (my hottie) and charlize again so regardles, i'm there on friday!

I had no idea it was a remake either. And the chemistry between Charlize Theron and Keanu Reeves looks good. No Veritas, Autumn In New York didn't completely suck, I thought it was pretty good. Wynona Ryder was great in it and I really enjoyed her character, but the ending wasn't as sad as I thought it would be, not a tear in my eye. Oh well, it still wasn't that bad, pretty good actually. Hopefully this one will actually make you sad in the end... Anyway, the more I see the previews the more I want to see it. I might see it in the theater if it's playing and there's nothing else I want to see playing, then I will. So, who knows ...

i know what you mean mike about the commercials... even the ones on the radio make me all sappy. i think that enya song makes it worse for me too!!! every freakin' time i hear that song i get all choked up, but it's cool though cuz then the day right after i saw the preview i had to download that song. i had no idea about autumn in NY, that's what i just heard... but now maybe i should go rent it =P

I haven't seen this movie yet but has anyone else. My brother and his girlfriend saw it and they said it was a really good movie. I want to see it but didn't get the chance yet, I still might just wait until video though. Has anyone else seen it though, is it good???
