this looks like a funny film, in a wierd sort of way. it seems kinda like a guy film though, i dunno. anyways, their website has some animated feature stuff with costner's voice on it and it's funny! y'all should go check it out! www.3kmtg.com (http://www.3kmtg.com) the site is cool too, you can play card games and stuff on it (i know, i'm lame but it is really cool)

This movie looks like it might be a whole heapin' hell o' fun, or a big ol' dog pissin' on a tree...the jury is SERIOUSLY OUT on this one!

The trailer makes it looks kinda funky, but I read about it being bumped a couple of times, and Costner and Russell both taking shots at editing the movie, so I gotta go in with some mighty LOW expectations.

But can any movie with Elvis and Vegas do any wrong?! /ubb/wink.gif

The trailer makes this one out to be a stinker, and a preview critic locally lambasted Costner once again...I guess I'm stuck watching "Viva Las Vegas", "Leaving las Vegas", "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" and "Honeymoon In Vegas" in some kind of wierd loop until the next fun/good flick comes along..."Vegas Vacation" aside...

Ugh, I've started reading some MEGA-nasty reviews on this one again (some even comparing it to BATTLEFIELD EARTH-- brrrrr), but I really HATE the fact that many of these so-called critics are attacking Kevin Costner PERSONALLY in their reviews...I mean, what's up with that?

I don't like the dude either, I hear that he's a real PAIN to work with (aka asshole), but for God's sakes, howsabout putting the guy's personality aside and reviewing the film for what it is (whether you think it sucks or not- it's like they have an axe to grind or something). Anyway, try and see how many BAD reviews of the film don't mention Costner's EGO or something about him wanting to take over the project...

The same kinda thing happened with BATTLEFIELD where many critics were slapping Scientology in there as a safety net, when really they should've spent more time talking about the crappiness or goodness of the movie in question.

Anyway, for the record, I thought this movie was a fun ride (isn't that the same thing I said about BE? beware! /ubb/smile.gif, and Costner was ESPECIALLY fun and entertaining to watch as a badass!!

Go in with an open mind and don't let the fact that Kevin's an a-hole in real life get in the way...hehehe
