To Lynchfreak...YES, of course we'll be sending the prizes out to anyone anywhere who wins (damn dude, half the people on this board are from the UK and Australia anyway /ubb/wink.gif
To Puck Bond...it's all good, dude, I got your back and the post in question has been taken care of. You're still in the game.
BTW, is it me or have about 90% of people chosen GLADIATOR, RUSSELL CROWE and JULIA ROBERTS as their top three guesses? Oh well, I believe there are still quite a few of the schmoes "holding off" their votes until the proper time presents itself. Should be fun on Oscar nite, and remember, we're also gonna have a LIVE OSCAR CHAT that same nite, too...

Hey Jo, does it matter WHEN you post your predictions? I mean, if there's two people with the same predictions but one posted on the first day and the other one on the last day, does that matter? Would the person who posted his prediction earlier have an advanate when it comes to winning the prize?

I'm starting to get panicked...and I can't breathe...and ...annd..aaann..... shit passed out...ok now. CAN ANYONE OUT THERE HELP ME??? It's not pretty to see me beg...i know...I think I'm addicted to this site. Yep, after re-reading my post, I know I am.

So this is no question, I just noticed this when I looked at the predictions in the contest so far... My god, 15 posters are first time posters and there are also many who has only posted a couple of times... I guess this means that this "Oscar prediction competition" has drawn many new 'schmoes' to the board. But many of them will only post once- for the contest. Positive or negative?

Homer: No, it doesn't matter when you post your predictions. I mean, we're OBVIOUSLY hoping that no one ties in the end, but if there are ties, then we'll figure some other FAIR way to break it (or we'll give everyone prizes...woo-hoo!!)
Kerryane: You might want to try checking the FAQ or writing in to the bums who created our CHAT program here: http://chat-forum.com/
Matias: Yeah, it's pretty cool that new folks are signing up. In fact, I noted over 100 new registered members over the past week alone, so that's always good. So let's put on our Sunday bests and show them all a good time (of course, I don't expect them all to stick around, but I'm sure many of the fun, cool movie convos going around will entice at least a few of them to join the world that is the schmoes). You guyz rock!!

you said there will only be 3 winners.
does that mean we can still have joint winners?
if quite a few people get the same scores and the outcome is that they are third, will you have enought prizes to give to them all?

also are there any prizes for taking part?

Uuuuhmm....no prizes for just taking part, I'm afraid, although we will be giving random prizes to randomly picked numbers that I will choose on the 24th.
In respect to your first question, we will "take care" of everyone who wins...not to worry... /ubb/wink.gif

Hey, what's up JoBlo? I got one question for you (although it may sound stupid):
Do we have to pay shipping & handling?

Well I've changed my mind on a few and I wanna change them..What should I do?
JoBlo

Sorry dude, no can do on any changes. That was basically the MAIN rule of the contest. Once you've made your picks, you had to stick by them (that way, folks wouldn't be going back and forth and making picks according to what others took, etc...).

The reason that Kerryane can not use the chat room is not down to the bums here at chat-forum.com but to the ones who developed WEBTV - it has no ability to use Java as it does not have a JVM and therefore can not interpret the langauge!
