You could, technically, say that Scary Movie came out within a year of each other.

Scary Movie came out July 7th, while Scary Movie 2 came out July 4th

hmmm... I was pretty sure Breakin' and it's sequel came out the same year

Anyway, now that I think about it...this is going way back but I think it's King Kong and The Son of Kong.

Well if you also waht to be specific they did that whole re release in which case they did release all three starwars back to back in the same year.
