Blade 2 Trailer, Not Impressed

Hey guys,

Not only did I see the Spider-Man trailer before LOTR but I also so the Blade 2 trailer.

And as much as I like Blade over Spider-Man I must admit the Blade trailer sucked.

It started out okay with a classic shot from behind his head so you could see his katana sticking up out of his jacket. He did some required flips off the building etc, etc.

Then it was just a bunch of quick cuts, not staying on anything long enough to get into it.

Maybe this is just the teaser and the real trailer is coming later. Because this thing is not going to get anyone to the theater.

Also during the Spidey trailer they opened with music from the Matrix! before it faded up I was thinking I was going to be seeing the new Matrix trailer. But nope it was Spider-Man.

I have seen them do this before even going so far as using it in the movie itself. What is up with that!

I expect Blade 2 to kickass, but you're right the trailer didn't show anything. Probably just a teaser trailer.

They showed the Queen of the Damned trailer before LOTR at the theater I was at, and that looked very good.

Of course the trailer wasn't any good it's only 35 seconds long, I mean shit you can't get anything good into 35 second teaser trailer. But no fear the real trailer will be in theatres soon, and I expect that one to be a little better.

Well, for me, the Blade 2 trailer worked. It showed enough to get me pumped to see it, but didn't show the whole damn movie like every other trailer these days. Don't get me wrong, I am sure they will come out with a longer one that will show every good action scene, etc. and leave absolutely no need to see the movie because it gave it all away, but for now I am content. Blade 2-- I'll be in line for that one!

-SIGNS is another great trailer. Just enough to get you hooked. More movies have been ruined for me by watching the trailers than I care to count, among them Joy Ride, Behind Enemy Lines, Cast Away, the list goes on and on.
