Cherry Falls

I know that this movie is going to be cut to shreds by the time it actually comes out in theatres. However in a year or two, the DVD, directors cut, or wherever they put the first version, will be absolutely spectacular. Imagine the cajones it took to try to slip a teenage orgy/massacre past the MPAA. Any thoughts?

Yeah, I agree, it took balls to write that in. I'm looking forward to this one. I just hope the rating boards leaves us a bit of the good stuff.

Cherry Falls will be butchered before hitting theatre screens, but it wasn't that good anyway (scriptwise). I believe this was the writer's first script, as he described things from his point of view (Script's arent supposed to be exaggerated in their own), and many of his commands were off (He used [O.C.] Off Camera than [O.S.] Off Screen, which is the correct turn).

The killer is also predictable as hell, and the orgy scene's attempt at humor was just plain dumb (a few nerds try to hit on two girls by using the pickup line "Every play Quake?".

There are better scripts, and better (teen)horror flicks. Hell, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer seems to be a better film.
