Night Of the Living Dead (new one, though I loved the old one also) of Dawn Of The Dead, which one did you guys like better? I would go with Dawn, but they both rock!

Dawn of the Dead-- Even though zombies creep me out... You should ask again when Resident Evil comes out. /ubb/smile.gif

Are they still makeing that??? I know George dropped out, and it has been delayed about 100 times.

For scares, I'd choose Night, but for entertainment value, I'd definitely have to choose Dawn over Night.

They are, and Romero is off(damn them for rejecting his script)it's just "stuck in developement" How could they reject his script, is what I would like to know.

I prefer Night (the original). Much more sinister and creepy. Dawn was a great film, but too comical for my liking. Day was the goriest I think but most people didn't like it.

Apparently Romero has a film he is working on right now. He debuted it at the NC School of the Arts a couple weeks back, but he was not happy with that version. Unfortunately I didn't get to meet him or see the flick but I did manage to snag an autographed copy of Dawn /ubb/smile.gif

Hey, screamer! I just found your original "Night or Dawn" post in the top ten section. It's the eleventh post on that board right now.
Just thought you'd like to know.

If you think about it, the producers certainly do not know more about zombie movies than him...Romero is the king when it comes to that...I would LOVE to see another zombie movie where he directs, and I know that I'm not the only one. By kicking him off they just screwed themselves.

Simply put, Romero's Resident Evil script was rejected because it sucked. It was less Resident Evil and more Twilight of the Dead.

No spiders. No giant snakes. No zombified dogs. The only villains Romero's script were zombies and the Tyrant.

Hell, in one draft, Chris Redfield was a civilian and not a member of S.T.A.R.S.!

I would definitely have to go with Dawn Of The Dead. The remake of NOTLD was dark and had some great moments of tension in it, so may be the better chiller. For overall entertainment and novelty value, I think DOTD wins this one.

The progress of the Resident Evil irks me a lot. Not much information is released about this film and I was disappointed to hear that Romero is not involved in the project anymore. I am a big fan of Romero's work and I think that his vision on zombies works still with today's audience (did you see the RE PlayStation commercial he made for Japan?). I too can't believe that they removed the authority of the zombie genre from their project!

If the script was bad, I would have made George rewrite it or just do something else. But remove him? No, no, no! Still, I cannot wait for that movie!

Is there any way for me to delete the previous post? For some reason I thought I was in the post about how I'd like to die in a movie! Just ignore it!

Friday the 13th sucks!!!

God, what is wrong with me today?! I posted that Friday the 13th remark because, for reasons I truly don't understand, I thought I was in the Friday the 13th post!
Sorry for taking up so much space on this post with my screw-ups; I just wanted you to understand why I put such odd remarks on a Night vs. Dawn post.
