Well people, what horror sequels are you most looking forward to? Being the Halloween nut that I am, I'm anxiously awaiting Halloween: H2K - Evil Never Dies. I've never really liked the Friday the 13th films, but Jason X looks like a fun movie also. Also, it has the best Friday script.

I'm not a big fan of sequels in general, especially in the horror genre. The Nightmare, Friday, Halloween, and Hellraiser series have all become jokes. Scream is rapidly heading in that direction.
I guess the slasher pics are more likely to be serialized and "true" horror (ie "The Shining") is left alone.
As for upcoming ones, Blair Witch 2 looks like it will suck. I'm sure Urban Legend 2 will suck more than the original. It's about time to crank out another Hellraiser. I just don't bother watching them anymore. Who really cares about Silent Night, Deadly Night 4??? (The original was pretty fun, though).

I have a love hate relationship with sequels. I hate it when my fav killers become cartoon characters (Freddy in 4-5-6), I hate it when my fav killers are slapped in a commercial flick to keep up with the trends (Michael in H20)but since I adore these nasty villains, I'm always happy to see them again. Jason X looks like fun. Hellraiser Oblivion, I hear has almost no Pinhead (too bad), Blair Witch 2 looks like shite. I am looking forward to The Crow Salvation and Jason X the most.

To be quite honest, I'm up for watching any sequel whose series began in the 80's. The new Friday the 13th movie, being a touch on the sci-fi side is a new direction and is making me scratch my head a little.
I don't want to know about Urban Legend sequels, Scream sequels, or Blair Witch sequels. They have been milked way too much by now. The Crow has always been one of my faves. The whole neo-gothic style is appealing and the latest installment looks good. Well, it can't be worse than the Crow 2, which was a VERY bad movie. The next Anne Rice conversions should be great. Particular notice to the Vampire chronicles series.

I figured it out.... "Hannibal" Unfortunately I think they are going to fuck it up by losing Foster and re-writing the ending (although the ending of the book was strange to say the least). I saw the trailer again last night and its brevity gives me chills.
i don't know about you but the plot of jason x(jason killing on a space station!)would suit a spoof of the series much better.

I haven't followed the plot entirely for the new jason movie. I know it's set on a Space station and he becomes defrosted or something then goes on the kill. Is it filmed like the other Friday the 13th movies? Or are they really going for serious horror? The latter would never work, hahah!

In fact I remember when Mad Tv first aired, the very first episode they did a Friday the 13th spoof where it was Jason on Apollo 13. It was pretty funny.

Phantasm's End: Bruce Campbell ( Ash, of the Evil Dead series) might be in this. Ash vs. killer flying sphere's, psychopathic jawas, and the Tall Man. One word: Groovy!
Twilight of the Dead: The rumored fourth entry in George Romero's Dead Trilogy.
Unfortunately, I don't think George will be filming his zombie war, originally intended for Day of the Dead. I heard in an interview it was going to take place in a world that's learned to live with the zombies or something along those lines.

They are making a Freddy vs. Jason release date so far is Sept 29th 2001. kinda like the Frankenstein vs. the Werewolf type deal, except I think this one will have a hell of alot more gore---

YEah I think the site is called www.moviefanonline.com (http://www.moviefanonline.com) , but I don't really like it because all the person who writes on it is critisizes movies. He never says anything good, and I don't particualry like the message board, but there alot of headlines and plans of upcoming movies, but they are not really detailed....

The one I am waiting for the most is Queen of the Dammned. It is the sequel to Interview with the Vampire. She is suppose to be an ancient egyptian vampire... Sounds pretty cool to me.

Kerryanne, Queen of the Damned will be pretty sad. For one, it's based around Lestat and they haven't completed his backstory (The Vampire Lestat will never be made as it is basically a retelling of Interview With the Vampire from Lestat's POV). The writer is trying to merge QotD and TVL, but 'Lestat' is only told as a character finds a diary about his past. And for some reason, Louis is not in the script. He was in the novel. Oh well, seeing Akashah and Enkil will be pretty cool.

A film i'd love to see a sequel to is Clive Barker's Nightbreed! Its probably my favourite monster film ever,& the way it ended looked like they were going to make a sequel to it?I reckon they could do some cool crap today with a film like that. They could make some real cool looking monsters n stuff,& Craig Sheffer would definitely have to come back for the sequel or it'd be crap.Well thats just my opinion....

Hellraiser: Inferno is due out October 10th on VHS and DVD (cool!), dunno why it keeps swapping names between Oblivion and Inferno... if it does well apparently the script for Hellraiser 6 is pretty much finished!
Personally would prefer remake rather than sequel to Nightbreed, where the slasher angle isn't pushed so much...

well, what about Leprechaun?
They only get sacrier...
I mean, Leprechaun in the Hood takes the cake as the scariest sequel ever made.

LOL... you know the UK video title for one of them (Leprechaun 2 I think) was "One Wedding and Lots of Funerals"?!

For me at least it has got to be "Twilight of the Dead"; however, when you see how things have been going for George lately, I doubt that it will ever be made which is really too bad. I would love to see it.
