Does anyone have any info on the upcoming movie Gigli? All I know is that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are starring and that Jennifer Lopez plays a "free-spirited gunslinger". What is it about? Who else is in the movie?? Thanks in advance!! http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif

Plot(from http://www.upcomingmovies.com/) : This comedic character piece tells the story of Gigli (Affleck), a hit man in Los Angeles eternally looking for the big score. His latest scheme is the kidnapping of the mentally challenged brother (Bartha) of a powerful district attorney. Successfully getting the brother to his seedy apartment, Gigli teams up with a woman (Lopez) he presumes to be in the business as well... is she; and will Gigli get away with this?

Martin Brest may not be the most prolific director (at two films a decade, his next film may not be until 2009), but that also means his hits (everything but Meet Joe Black; Brest needs to stick with comedies) stand out even more so. Midnight Run, in particular, is one of the funniest movies of the late 1980's, when on average, there were a lot of good comedies being made, and in my opinion, one of De Niro's best films. Looking at Brest's last five films, he has, each time, worked with some of the biggest stars of our time: George Burns, Eddie Murphy, Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Brad Pitt (his funniest star, no contest, was Charles Grodin). Now, Ben Affleck will be stepping into that rarefied territory, with 2002's Gigli, which also marks the first time Brest has directed a script of his own since the very funny Going in Style, starring George Burns, Art Carney, and Lee Strasberg

Formerly Halle Berry had been in talks for the Lopez role.
