Halloween question

i feel kinda dumb asking this..but i can't remember if they ever answered this in the series or not..whatever happened to michael's parents? i think they might have said in part 2..but i can't remember. (it's been a few years)also..if michael's thorn curse makes him kill his family..why didn't he kill his parents, or does he just have a thing for sisters and nieces?

and what about lindsey? (the other kid in the first one) they brought tommy in for a sequel..i'm surprised that they didn't nab her.

Great question! I don't remember this being answered. I don't think they ever mentionned Michael's parents but I MIGHT BE WRONG.

And yes it seems Michael has a hard on for sisters, nieces and nephews who just turned 17 (still don't get that one)

There was a brief mention of Michael's parents in Halloween II.

As Loomis is being escorted away from Haddonfield by the Martial and Marion Chambers, she talks about a sealed file. I believe the line is:

"That girl, that Strode girl, that's Michael Myers' sister. She was born two years before he was committed. Two years after, her parents died and she was adopted by the Strodes...."

it is true that all that was said about Michaels parent was that they died..no mention of how they died or anything..

ive never heard ANY mention of Lyndsey since the first Halloween..she could definitely be brought back in part 8.. she could be a goth chic or something..she could be in touch with the GODS of THORN!!ahh,what am i talking about..

that is an interesting question,why didnt Michael kill his parents..MAYBE,he only kills the people most likely to reproduce,hence going after 16-20 year olds..i dont know,just a guess..they never explain why he ONLY seems to go after the youngsters..

anyway, where was laurie when michael killed his sister? he came after her 15 years after he murdered his sister, and she was 17 then, so she would have been 2 y/o. and it was obvious that his sister wasn't babysitting anyone else..

Yeah, I dont think if they ever formally brought it up in the series but, many people say they died in a car crash. But maybe its just something like an internet rumor. But all I know, is that they mentioned them dying in Halloween 2.

About Lindsay... no sign of her since the original. I hope they bring her back in 9 or 10.

In part 4 Rachels friend(the one driving Rachel and Jamie) was named Lindsey which couldve been the same Lindsey. She wouldve been about the right age.
