Dude, "Final Destination" is the best. I'd count "American Psycho", but that's more of a suspense flick in my eyes.

The jury is still out for me on "Drac 2000", "Shadow of the Vampire", and "Requiem for a Dream", but I hope to be seeing them soon.
My List:
1. "American Psycho" Not only the best horror movie of the year, but one of the best movies of the year.
2. "The Cell"
3. "The Exorcist: the version you've never seen"
4. "The Ninth Gate" Engaging story and sly humor.
5. "Pitch Black" Monsters, monsters, monsters!
6. "Final Destination" Great first thirty minutes, engaging final hour.
7. "What Lies Beneath"
8. "Blair With 2: Book of Shadows"
9. "Godzilla 2000" Not really horror, but damn it kicked ass.
10. "Hellraiser: Inferno" Great reinterpretation of the mythos.
11. "Urban Legends: The Final Cut"
12. "Scream 3" Sorry, just didn't, like it. Better than "The Watcher", though; not to mention "Bless the Child", which ranks as one of the worst movies of the year.

I think american Psycho was the best horror flick of 2000, went out and read the book right after the movie and it was good too, disturbing but good. Also hollow man was a pretty darn good flick too for 2000.

Dude, you got Ul2 over SCREAM 3?? Yea scream 3 wasn't as good as the 1st 2.....but it sure wasn't that bad!! Anyway.....my top two would be The Exorcist re-release and American Psycho. (though not true horror)

Strange as it may seem, I did actually enjoy the "UL" sequel better than "Scream 3." Of course I went into "UL2" with expectations low, and "S3" with expectations high, so that may explain it. I'll check 'em out again.
And without a doubt I consider "American Psycho" a horror movie. It's a social satire and a dark-as-the-pit comedy, but it's definately horror as well.
