Friday The Thirteenth, or Scream?

I think they are both in equal greatness. But if I had to choose one of the two, I would pick Scream. What would you guys pick?

Scream, I wish I could get together with Kevin and Wes and collaberate on the ultimate slasher film. It would have 10+ killings, alot of naked babes(because it would take place in exotic locations), great characters, great meaning, and one hell of a plot twist. If it was a film, I'd only trust these guys to help me with it.

Also, the Scream films are a gigantic bashing of films like Friday the 13th and of the 90s social and political scene (I know we wanted more of this in part 3) so think about that before you say anything about this. It's going to be a classic in the way The Cantebury Tales and Gulliver's Stories are.

I would have to pick Friday the 13th. When it comes to horror ya have to look at the masters, and that is what Friday the 13th is. It is ONE of the greatest horror flicks of all time. Jason is alot scarier than the Scream "killers". There is no guessing, no multi- killer sequels...just one killer, one man...that is unstoppable...Jason is beyond pshycological help, beyond death, he is the ultimate killer...that is some scary shite.

The Friday The 13th flicks have a sentimental value attached to them for me. I grew up with them so they bring me back. The Scream series is cool but Friday is closer to my heart.

I mean without Halloween or Friday there wouldnt be any Scream.

You cant say one is better than the other ! There totally different films Scream makes u have to think "WHO" ? Whereas Friday the 13th makes u wonder whats he gonna use next ? There both inspiratonal films as they both regenerated the love for horror flicks in the general public ! Friday does have an advantage though Scream will never succesfully make 8 sequels ! and theres a 10th Friday script ! Still I loved both they'll both go down as classics ! Also you gotta love both the masks !
