Army of Darkness - S Mart or End o' World?

Anyone who's snagged "Army of Darkness" on DVD has obviously seen the original ending Raimi intended it to have. While it probably keeps the tone of the series, I think I prefer the S Mart finale.

What say you?

I agree the S-Smart scene is actually one of my fav scenes of the film. I found the alternate ending to be kinda bland.

The girl in that scene is the hot broad from Dark Angel The Ascent...she's hot

I think both endings are great for ending the "Evil Dead" series. The Apocalypse ending is good if Sam Raimi wanted to end it on a very dark note, but the S-Mart one has a comic-book "He finally got 'em" feel to it; I prefer the latter ending.

I don't really have a preference, because I think they are both great. The Original fits the series better, but the S-Mart ending fits the movie better. But remember, without the S-Mart ending, we wouldn't have had one of the most memorable lines from the trilogy: "Hail to the King, Baby."

I too like the S-MART ending better. The end of the world ending is good, but not as good as S-MART.
I just hope they make a 4th one.
