The Arrow

I've been reading the horror mag FANGORIA for years. I kind of let it dropped for a while (too much partying) but since I started The Arrow page I've gone back to it. The mag keeps me up to date, gives great behind the scenes info and is just a fun read from page 1 to whatever. Any horror fans here that read the mag? Wassup????

I've been reading FANGO since I was 14. Couldn't live without it.

Fangoria is a bit too expensive here in the UK to read regularly, I prefer Dark Side. A totally cool Brit mag that satisfies all my macarbe movie needs.

I used to really read it a lot in high school and early college...now I just check out the website for news, etc...I still look it over sometimes at the newsstand though...by the way, is this cool or what?...Kane Hodder will make an appearance in Tim
Burton’s PLANET OF THE APES remake—“And I’m a
human, not an ape!” Hodder told Fango’s Tony Timpone.
Hodder also recalled the fun he had meeting Rob
Zombie at the Fango Pasadena WEEKEND OF
HORRORS last August. After Tony introduced Kane to
Zombie backstage, Zombie told Kane that they had met
before. Kane looked at Zombie incredulously. “I don’t
remember meeting you,” he responded. Zombie
laughed. “It was at a Fango convention in New York years
ago. I was just a fan!”

I interned for Fangoria last year, and obviously it was the best job I've worked so far. As far as the mag itself goes, I'm two away from owning every issue and have to say they've done very well for themselves over the years, considering the occasional horror drought.

I used to read Fango every issue, for 3 years straight. Then one day my local grocery store (only place in town that had it) quit putting it out. I havent seen it since, I miss reading it too.

I can only afford to skim through the pages. I live in Roseville California, and it is sold for $6.99! How much is it for you guys?

Been reading it since I found it (roughly 2 1/2 years ago).

Ok, let's see, up in Canada, I think it runs for like, $8-9.99. And where I am, it's hard to find (I know of only two places that carry the thing). But when I do find it, its usually a good read.

Well...here in Norway, they sell it for about $17!!!!!! I can't afford buying it every time, but I consider subscribing a year. It's only $10 extra for a year overseas.

I too read fango for the first 100 issues but had to give it up because of price. Here in Australia it's about $14.00 and even if I could afford it my locality makes it hard to get anyway.
