The Mutilator AKA Fall Break

Man, I love this film. Anyone else ever seen it?
It was filmed about 30 mins from my house at a local resort area that I'm very familiar with. Man this movie is great.

Basic plot is of a kid who is cleaning his father's gun on his bday. He accidentally shoots his mother and his father hates him for the rest of his life.
The boy is in college and his father tells him to go to Atlantic Beach NC (WHOOHOO!) to take care of his beach cabin. Well, the father is hiding there and he dispatches his son's friends in the most grisly ways. ~Evil Grin~
I actually knew quite a few of the actors in this film personally, and never knew they were in it till I rented it. Heard it did alright at the theaters back in the 80's. There is even a cop that gets decapitated, whom I see every day directing traffic. LOL!
Just wanted to see if anyone had seen this, and wanted to know your reactions. Loved this film....need to find a copy. Too bad it is OOP.

That's pretty cool how it was shot by your house, and you know the 'actors' in it, but it still doesn't excuse you from saying something as evil as "I liked the mutilator!"

This film is so PISS POOR i don't know where to start!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1. SHIT, SHIT ACTING - THE WORST I HAVE EVER SEEN.
2. NO STORYLINE/PLOT - IF THE FATHER WNATED TO KILL HIS SON HE WOULD'VE DONE IT WHEN HE SHOT HIS MOM!!!!! AND HIS REACTION WHEN HE SAW HER DEAD, WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!! PISS POOR ACTING
3. EVERYBODY IN THIS MOVIE ACTS TOTALLY DIFFERENT TO THE WAY PEOPLE WOULD ACT IN REAL LIFE - CARDBOARD CUT OUT TWATS!!
4. YOU DON'T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT THE CHARACTERS - MINIMUM CHARACTER DEVELOPEMENT, OH AND THE SHITE OVERACTING FROM THE DUDE WHO GETS KILLED WITH THE CHAINSAW!!
5. DID I MENTION THE CHARACTERS ARE HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, PEOPLE! ALL UGLY MOTHAFUCKAZ WITH NOTHING INTERESTING TO SAY! AND WHAT A SAD, LOSER GAME THEY PLAY! HOW OLD ARE THEY?!

I've had enough - i could go on for hours but i'd be wasting my time - I HATE THIS MOVIE! I could make a better movie at 3 in the morning when i'm pissed and stoned!!!!

P.S - The INTRO music - what is this a fucking comedy??????!!!!

Do me a favour! When you see the so called actors from THE MUTILATOR around town, GIVE THEM A BLOODY GOOD SLAP and tell them it's from me!!!!!!!! Oh, and also say "Whoever told you you could act - THEY WERE SO BLATANTLY LYING! My ass can act better!

I think I need to tell everyone something about myself before I get any more of these remarks.
I LOVE BAD MOVIES!
I LOVE CHEAP HORROR FILMS!
I just like my movies with an extra helping of chesse. And this film had it all, the bad acting, terrible sets (One night scene is obviously shot during the day with sunlight coming in through the windows). And, it's an extremely cheap rip off of the slasher films.
I know that the fact that it was filmed near me has a big influence, but so does the fact that it was such a bad movie.
But, the gore effects in this film were actually pretty good. The outboard motor scene was cool as hell.
But, yes Morgan, I do have to say it is a terrible movie. But, that's what makes it so damned good /ubb/smile.gif

That's cool dude. I like a lot a BAD movies too. I'm known for my strange taste. It's just that this movie was a little TOO BAD for even me to stomach.

I THINK THIS MOVIE IS QUITE GOOD...
IF YOU HAVE THE UNCUT VERSION, AND GET TO SEE THAT POOR LASS, SHOVED UP AND DOWN, WITH A HOOK UP HER LOVE-HOLE... THAT BIT FREAKED ME OUT A BIT.

Don't think I'd be able to handle that scene in the uncut version. It was pretty gruesome as it was.
But, I have looked for the Extreme version, and have found it on Ebay but for about 30 bucks....little bit too much for me.............

Oh yeah, and I don't think that the guy got killed by a chainsaw. I got the impression that it was an outboard motor?

Yeah, probably - anyway the version i saw was the extreme version, and i didn't think it was that gory.

Well, the only copy I can actually get a hold of is an original video release which is Unrated...it's not too bad when it comes to the gore. A beheaded cop, outboard motor to the chest, chopped off legs, severed lower halfs. /ubb/smile.gif

Terrible film, the acting made it nearly impossible to watch, the music made me want to smash something and the dialogue was just flat out horrible. Its badly made and just badbadbad. Just another shitty slasher film.
