A few years ago, Stephen King made a new version of the Shining because he apparently hated Kubrick's. I personally think it dragged on way too long and that that guy from Wings, Steve Weber, is no substitute for my man Jack. It just can't comare to those sweet Steadicam shots and distorted perspectives from Kubrick's. I also didn't like Rebecca DeMornay as Jack's wife. She;;y Duvall, as ugly as she might be, just seemed more realistic. Surprisingly, I've read quite a few few favorable reviews for this piece of crap miniseries. Which do you guys prefer?

No contest...the 1980 Stanley Kubrick version. No one can "out-Jack" JACK.

If anybody says they prefer the TV "Wings star" version of The Shining they don't belong on a movie website like this.
