Here's the rules...
1) I'll start a horror script and give the complete set up and opening.
2) From the foundation set you all build on it using the story that's been set up for you.
Title: "So Happy"
Genre: Slasher horror with a hint of sci-fi
OPEN ON:
EXT. DETROIT NEIGHBORHOOD- NIGHT
The Autumn chill is evident as we pass a sign that reads... ROSEDALE PARK COMMUNITY. We are slowly making our way down the street as we see that this is Halloween night. The fall leaves are whisking about and tiny TRICK OR TREATERS are making their rounds.
We start to follow a FATHER and his POWER RANGER dressed little SON as they make their way to a cute and cozy little house. Once they reach the house the little SON knocks on the door...
SON: Trick or treat!
The door comes open and we see the very attractive face of KAI MORGAN, African American, about 20. She passes candy out to the SON. SON and FATHER leaves as we stay inside with KAI.
INT. HOUSE- NIGHT
KAI closes the door and walks in to her buffed football type boyfriend, JUAN. Latino, about 24. The sound of a horror film can be heard coming from the television.
The horror film is then interrupted by a news break...
REPORTER: This just in the notorious serial killer, known as the Happy Faced Slasher has struck again on this Halloween night.
KAI turns the report off.
JUAN /ubb/frown.gifComforting) What's the matter baby?
KAI: (Bothered) I am so sick and tired of hearing about this. I wish they would just catch this bastard!
JUAN: I know it is scary boo.
KAI: You have no idea how sacry it is Juan, you're not on his list are you?
JUAN: But if it effects you, doesn't it effect me Kai...
He's interrupted by the sound of the doorbell and the sound of a voice saying "Trick or treat!". KAI gets up to get the candy bowl and opens the door to see a giftwrapped box, wrapped in black and yellow wrapping paper with happy faces all over the box.
KAI backs away form the door with a distraught look on her face. JUAN stands to see the box, but no one at the door.
KAI: It's from him.
JUAN: (Making his way to the door looking out) This shit's going to stop!
JUAN takes the box and slams the door. He opens the box to see black and yellow wrapping paper and pictures of KAI and himself over the course of a few weeks. A huge black card with child like yellow inked writing on it that reads... "I like u. I hate HIM!!!...Happy"
There's a video tape at the bottom of all the pictures. Some of teh pictures show bodily harm toward JUAN, smiley faces adorn KAI's pictures.
JUAN puts the video in and we see footage of KAI walking around on campus, she's unknowingly being stalked. The image then cuts away to JUAN and KAI on a date. Then to the camera making it's way down KAI's street, and up to her front door.
Just then there's a loud and violent banging at the front door. KAI jumps and screams out, then the lights go out throughout the house.
JUAN grabs KAI's hand.
JUAN: Don't worry Kai, i'm here.
JUAN pulls out a Glock 9mm.
JUAN: (Yelling out) Come on you motherfucker! Come the fuck out you BITCH!!
The front door starts to make a noise as it slowly creaks open. JUAN unloads on the front door. When the door is completely open a bullet riddled jack-o-lantern with a smile on it's face is seen.
JUAN reloads and walks cautiously to the front door.
KAI: (Terrified) NO! Don't go out there Juan!
JUAN turns around facing KAI and turning his back to the door...
JUAN: (Angry & waving the gun around) What the fuck is this motherfucker going to do!? Huh!? I want this bitch to step to me...
HAPPY does as the sound of something cutting through the air and into his back knocking him forward to the floor on his face. A unique looking ax is embedded in JUAN's back as JUAN struggles to pull himself across the floor spitting blood from his mouth. The gun is on the floor and KAI is screaming.
Walking in front of the pumpkin is a dressed in black tall, buffed happy face masked killer waving.
KAI screams out and a telekentik force slams the door shut. KAI races for the gun as JUAN slowly dies and whispers for KAI to run and get out.
Just then... BLAM!!!
The front door comes flying open hitting KAI in the head knocking her to the floor and the gun across the room. HAPPY steps in wearing a black fitted turtleneck, black slacks, a black form fitted trench coat that drapes the floor and a latex yellow and black happy face mask that fits his face and head. KAI is still trying to come to.
HAPPY walks in and steps on the ax that's in JUAN's back before ripping it from JUAN's back sending blood flying evrywhere on the white carpet and white furniture. HAPPY takes the ax and lifts it with one hand, raising it above his head. (The ax is brutally designed as a fire ax type with a scythe like double head to it and black rubber grip) HAPPY brings the ax down onto JUAN at least six times before a seriously gory decapitation sending his head rolling toards the screaming KAI who's scream seems to knock HAPPY off his feet and onto the floor.
HAPPY jumps back to his feet and grabs KAI by her foot pulling her toward him. KAI is in tears.
HAPPY: Aren't you happy i just want to spend forever with you?
KAI looks at the gun and with her talent she brings it to her. HAPPY notices this and tilts his head in amazement. Before he notices that she has pulled the trigger, shooting him in the shoulder, sending him back as he slips on JUAN's body.
KAI rises with a super ability ease and HAPPY jumps to his feet only to meet the rage coming from KAI as she twists and turns his neck, and melds the mask to his face making him bleed and hold to his head yelling out in pain as he falls to his knees. Just like a scanner KAI deforms HAPPY making him and his maks seem to become one. Then the death blow, she snaps his neck.
She falls from exhaustion to the floor as she falls next to the bloody mess of HAPPY who's happy deformed face is covered in blood.
KAI is in tears as we close in on her face.

One Year Later: Height Academy

INT. CONFRENCE ROOM- DAY
Seated at a table are SIN BROADY, a white male, about 18, neo punk type of a kid dressed like a dignified punk, he's a telepath; JONES KELLER, black male about 24, dressed in Banana Republic black. Distinguished and stylish, he's a teleporter; KARIN O, asain female, about 18 giving the bubble gum raver look, she's a shape shifter; LAKE ISSON, 24, arabic american, goth girl stlyed. She's impervious to pain; MAINE ROBINSON, 22, mixed (Af. Amer and Causcasian) break dancer styled pretty boy, knows an unknown martial arts stlye and has super human agaility. Also at the table is the very out of place KAI and a doctor, DR. KELLUM.
Introductions are in process headed by KELLUM
***Okay here we go. HAPPY is going to come back as a demonic presence with the happy face as his real face, yellow skin, black eyes with white pupils and black lips. He's after KAI and her new found friends, a group of other super human styled young adults formulated by the government for some kind of study. When HAPPY comes across her and her friends he starts killing them off one by one and taking their ability each kill amplifying his evil and abilities.
