How many of you have seen this movie? I, for one LOVE IT! Please give your opinions, as i am really interested. Also, if anybody has any information at all regarding the following points i will be extremely grateful:
1. The fact that this movie was filmed in the UK. I read reviews saying that the majority of the actors in it were English, and their accents slip every now and then. I have only seen it once and don't remember. Anybody know where it was filmed?/ if it really was the UK?!
2. The guy who played Marty, the nerd/killer (SIMON SCUDDAMORE) commit suicide shortly after this movie was released. I heard it was something to do with an abusive father. Anybody know anything??!!
Once again, i would really appreciate any reviews or information. THANX

Big, dumb, fun is three words that I can use to describe this one. Although nowhere near a good slasher flick it is kinda a cult classic. No brained in the biggest way but not dull at any time and it doesn't take itself too seriously.

Is this the movie where the guy comes crashing through the man size poster of him as a nerd and chases that chick down the hall, or is that Return to Horror High? I think it had Marsha,Marsha,Marsha from the Brady Bunch in it. Anyway, that scared the shitty out of me.

That was Return to Horror High. It had George Clooney and he died REAL quick.

This was a great movie I saw back when I was 6. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find it in the past 14 years. It's a shame too because I didn't get to see the ending. I can only hope that Anchor Bay releases a dvd of it. And as far as I know that information is true. Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.

Actually, that lifesize poster scene was from Slaughter High. However, Marsha (Maureen McCormack) played a cop in Return to Horror High.

Yeah, I think it would be weird to watch the movie knowing that Simon Scudamore killed himself shortly after it was shot. Kinda like watching The Crow and knowing Brandon Lee died during filming. Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.

Ironically enough, I just watched Slaughter High this past weekend having not seen it since the 80's. It definately has all the ingredients to be remembered as a slasher 80s flick. I didnt know about the actor playing Marty killing himself until the next day after watching it when I read about it on imdb. Pretty sad story, I thought he could have been a good horror actor (perhaps more).

I remember this movie fondly. It had some unintentional laughs for me as these actors who were clearly adults played stereotypical teens in their done-Marty-wrong flashback. Another thing that struck me as unusual was the fact that they were dickhead teens but seemed straightened out and likeable as adults. I was sorry to see some of them bite the dust, yet I was also sorry for Marty. I can't recall off hand other movies where I was sorry for everybody, killer and victims. Caroline Munro was lovely as usual--check her out in Captain Kronos Vampire Killer (or Hunter, can't remember which) and a small role in James Bond's The Spy Who Loved Me.
