The Bride of Chucky

Hello did anyone like the Child's Play movies. I liked 1 and 2 the best and 3 wasn't to bad, but the bride of chucky (part 4) was the dumbest one of them all. I mean come on they made 4 more of a comedy then a horror movie (example).

Chucky's girlfriend > do you have a rubber Chucky.

Chucky's response > what are you talking about i'm all rubber baby.

Now you people agree with me when i say that part in the Bride of Chucky was freaking funny. The Bride of Chucky was more of a comedy then a horror what do you people think.

I pretty much thought all Child's Play movies were dumb. And the only reason kids were scared of the movies was because it was a toy that killed people, and we had lots and lots of toys. (I still do) It was a doll, people. All you had to do was drop kick the little pecker if it ever came after you. I mean what does Chucky weigh, 4, 5 pounds? I never got what was so scary about the film. Though I never seen Bride of Chucky, I will take your advice and not see it. (I wasn't going to anyway)

I thought that Bride of Chucky was pretty good. At least it was funny. It would have sucked if it tried to be funny and wasn't, but it succeded.

Well one of the main reasons I didn't want to see it is because a couple of my friends liked it. /ubb/smile.gif As you can tell, they don't have good taste in movies. Thats how I can tell if I would like a movie or not, see if they like it and if they do then chances are I won't. But if it is funny, maybe, but I still have my doubts. I still think Chucky is they gayest horror villian to date.

Well, I never liked the films. Add to that a stupid horror villian. Chucky never scared me. The only reason he killed so many people was because the victims never expected a doll to come to life. It was just a stupid idea to me. Al you really had to do was kick the little bastard like a football through a field goal if he ever came for you.

Can any1 tell me how long is Katherine Hiegel's part in this? (she plays Isobell on Roswell on the wb) i am thinking of renting this because i have seen a 3 but not this one, and she is a hottie....but dont want to chaes it around town if she is barely in the movie....

I thought the movie was stupid.I dont think that they should ever try to make horror/comedy movies,unless it's a spoof.And I totally agree with meat about kicking the shit out of the doll.I thought the first Childs Play was a decent way to pass time but the rest were just dumb.

I LOVED Bride Of Chucky, it was great, plus, they made it more of a comedy like it should have been. It was HILARIOUS and I'm glad they took the funny route. I mean, did anyone actually find the first 3 scary, it was a freakin doll killing people. I mean yeah, they were sorta fun but not scary. BRIDE OF CHUCKY was the best in the series, I loved it so much and bought it as soon as I could get my hands on it. It's about time they realized that chucky is funny, not scary. I think they tried to be too serious with the first 3 in the series but did it right with BRIDE OF CHUCKY. This movie was great. Katherine Heigl is hot too, she's in the movie quite a bit, so rent it if you haven't already... I hope they do make another Chucky movie as long as they stick to the comedy stuff...

I thought Bride of Chucky was a killer horror/comedy...it had a great pace, a few good characters...Katherine Heigl is hot and jennifer tilly was awesome as tiffany.

For what it was, i thought the BRIDE OF CHUCKY was good enough. I was disapointed that it took the comedic direction. Even thought 2 and 3 were no classics, i really like CHILD'S PLAY - one of my favourites as a kid, and it always takes me back to the time when i used to think it might happen to one of my toys - scary shit when you're about 10! I always thought it waz a good idea too.
