Yeah, I've seen it. It's so bad it makes GHOULIES seem like a horror masterpiece.

MUNCHIES? FUCK that piece of trash! That was
nothing more than a piss poor excuse for a
rip-off of GREMLINS! The creatures were awful
and hardly moved, the acting was atrocious,
and the plot sucked! I could've been on crack
and make a better film. The film was a huge
chunk of limberger. I would not reccomend it
for kids. If you're looking for this film or
to purchase it, DON'T! Save your money and
life wasted watching it. I was pissed for the
hour and a half of MY life I wasted. Want to
look for a weird creepy film? I just saw The
Sentinel last night. For the first 1/4, it's
a little chatty, but from then on, it just
gets creepier and wierder. Cool film, if you
know where you can rent it, check it out.

I actually loved this movie...i thought was hilarious, specially when the one flicks of the girl in the car. I was on my ass..but granted i was like 8 or 9 at the time.

Uh... i think Munchies is terrible as well.

I happened to enjoy all the Critters flicks, but the last time I saw them was in 1993, but I was in the right mood; with good friends having a bad-movie marathon. Not even Munchies would be worthy of that!

I used to LOVE this movie when I was little.......of course I haven`t seen it in years.
Some things I remember liking about this movie:

***MINOR SPOILERS***
-The creatures each have their own individual look, unlike the Gremlins and Critters which all look the same.
-When you kill one of them, two more pop-up in it`s place (cool idea).
-When they get electrocuted, the creatures turn into statues (also cool).
-The "good" creature (like Gizmo) gets killed....and only halfway into the movie!

I haven`t even seen this avialable in video stores for years, is it even still in print?

I ran across a used copy of Munchies a few weeks ago, but I passed on it. It seemed pitiful. I'll just stick to Critters if I ever want to watch an entertaining Gremlins ripoff.
