View Full Version : Shek 2
As some of you may have noticed I loved Shrek, usualy I'm excited about sequels to films I like, but not this time.
My question is this: Where is the story?
Shrek is a perfectly self contained film, it does not need a sequel nor can I see a story that needs to be told with these characters.
What do you guys think?
Bugger, Realised I had put Shek instead of Shrek about two seconds after posting, sorry

I might be inclined to agree, but I think the sequel could be just as good. My reason is that it reminds me of Toy Story. I thought that movie was a perfectly self contained film and didn't think a sequel was a good idea. Then they made it and it was actually a very good movie. (Some liked it better than the first, but I disagree.)
So I'd be willing to give it a chance. I still have doubts that it will be as good as the first one, though. I loved Shrek.

As long as Shrek does not turn into The Land Before Time sequels, it will be ok.

You guys don't like The Land Before Time? Damn! I was just on my way to buy The Land Before Time XX.
Anyway, I wanna see a sequel for Shrek. Hell, that movie kicked ass! If they make it right, it could be better than the original.
