Perry as Bond? That'd be sweet as hell. I'm a huge Friends fan (I have ever episode on tape!!) and that would be a perfect way to shed the wuss label brought on by his character Chandler. I can see it now "Chandler Muriel 'James Bond' Bing".

Don't get me wrong, I think Matthew Perry is a hilarious guy, but I can't see him playing 007. I think Hugh Jackman should be the next one if Brosnan decides to stop, which I think he most certainly should NOT! He's probably my favorite Bond.

Matthew Perry as Bond? I agree with Colin, what a way to kill the series. I really can't imagine Perry as a suave, debonair spy. He's too sarcastic and average. Anyway, the rumor is that it is called Beyond the Ice, although MGM vehemently denies that. And the next Bond will likely be (from what I hear) Christian Bale, singer Robbie Williams, Russell Crowe, Hugh Jackman, or Ewan MacGregor.

Okay...I just almost fell off my chair laughing at the thought of Matthew Perry as Bond... I think that Hugh Jackman would be a great Bond if they decide to continue on with the movies. I think that Hugh Jackman would be great but I would still prefer to see Brosnan stick with it as he said he would because after Sean Connery he is the best Bond the franchise has had.

Although I want Prosnan to say on (and it now appears he is going to), I'd be happy with any of these guys as the next Bond (except Robbie Williams, and only because I don't know who he is).

Oh yeah, and I dunno about the title. I only know it'll be directed by Lee Tamahori, it'll star Pierce Brosnan as Bond, Halle Berry and Rosamund Pike as the Bond girls, Toby Stevens as the bad guy, and John Cleese will step-up as the new Q. Dame Judi Dench and Samantha Bond will be back as M and Moneypenny, and Bond is gonna ride an Aston Martin again (the Aston Martin V12 Vanquish). I heard something about the Asiatic gang leader from THE FAST AND FURIOUS starring in the flick, but I didn't find any confirmation about that.
