Who should play Elektra in DAREDEVIL?

Like it or not, Affleck is Matt Murdock. This I have no problem with. However, the OTHER most important casting, that of the love interest/ninja assassin Elektra, has yet to be made, and some interesting new rumors regarding who's up for the role have just popped up on online. The contestants:

Jennifer Garner
Star of TV's Alias. She may not really look the part, but she's definitely got the physicality needed for the role, and she ain't hard on the eyes either.

Rhona Mitra
Former Tomb Raider model, star of Beowulf and TV's Gideon's crossing (she was also the rape victim in Hollow Man). She looks a little more like Elektra, and her European accent may help along the way. I've seen her in Gideon's crossing and in Beowulf, and she is competent as an actress, but she could use a little work. Physically, she might almost be as gifted as Garner, but I can't be sure.

Jolene Blalok
Best known for her role as the hot Vulcan chick on TV's Enterprise (I forget her name). Acting wise, she's the best one so far. Physically, she probably looks like the most like the character (tied with Mitra), but she might need training for the action parts of the movie.

My analysis (from most likely to least likely):

Acting:
1. Blalock
2. Garner
3. Mitra

Looks the part?:
1. Blalock/Mitra
2. Garner

Physicality:
1. Garner
2. Mitra
3. Blalock

Given these details, I'd say Blalock is the best choice, as long as they're willing to take time before filming to give her the proper training for the action scenes. Otherwise, Garner is the next best thing.

I think Salma Hayek should play Elektra. I've been saying this since I heard there was going to be a Dare-Devil movie. I don't know if she has the physicality, but damn it, she has the looks.

Has anyone ever seen or heard of Aria Giovanni? She's a model, she looks exactly like the Greg Horn covers on the new Elektra comics. Well sometimes she does, sometimes not so much. Of course I don't think she can act, but she's still hot, and lookswise would be good for the part. I would post a picture of her and one the Elektra covers, but I don't know what the hell I'm doing. Can someone please tell me how to do it?

Since they first started to look for an actress to play Elektra, I always thought that Asia Argento would be perfect. She is exotic enough and she can certainly act.

I think that Elektra can not be played by someone as famous and popular as Ben Affleck. If that happened the movie should then be called Elektra. Elektra can also not be one of the famous Latina actresses in Hollywood. The character of Elektra is Greek. Whoever plays Elektra does not have to be Greek, but having a famous Latin actress would totally mislead the audience as to the nationality of the true character. Elektra has to be someone who first off, looks the role, is physically capable of acting in the role, and will fit the character as depicted in the comic. She has to be able to sell Elektra for who she really is, the daughter of a wealthy Greek tycoon. My suggestion is to take someone unknown who totally fits the role and is hot and make them a star. This will do wonders for the film and at the same time keep the character of Daredevil as the leading character. I am sure whoever plays Elektra will be hot and attract enough attention on her own.
