Stephen King-Desperation-Film????

I read about a year ago that this film was going into production!
Well, where is it? Is this film stuck in production hell or what? I loved the book, and would kill to see it on the screen.

Anyone have ANY info on this????

I loved the book too man, matter of fact it was probably the only book I ever REALLY REALLY enjoyed. The movie is, in fact, in production hell. Filming has not even started on it, and it's looking less and less likely that it will even be made. But I sure hope it does, what a great movie that would make!

The book rocked! It was one of King's best efforts in my opinion. I would look forward to a movie also, but I think this isn't at all easy to pull off, since there are a lot of things that seem kinda unfilmable ( The Climax, for example ).
