Could somebody tell me why everyone liked Scream 3. It sucked. It had too much of a storyline to make it scary. To much about the mom really made it suck. Also they tried to make it funny. they should have never made it. That movie ruined the whole other two films.

Lest we forget the best one? AMERICAN PSYCHO. and by the way, Scream 3 was different from the first two with more story and stuff, but i still really liked it just as much as the second one.

Too much story? That is like saying there is too much food on my plate. I liked Scream 3 because it was funny and no, it wasn't scary but I had fun.
I agree with u Antonio, most of the list you did was spot on with my list.
I would add Lake Placid and Idle Hands to that list. Omitting Hannibal, sorry but I thought it wasn't scary. Fun but not scary.
Great topic

I totally overlooked AMERICAN PSYCHO, but compensated my omission by editing my list.

Im not in the best of moods, so i'm gonna say which movies SUCKED:
LAKE PLACID
THE SIXTH SENSE
AMERICAN PSYCHO
SLEEPY HOLLOW

Hey MIKE -
Yeah dude. It's not even funny how much AMERICAN PSYCHO sucked! CHRISTIAN BALE'S character was blatantly GAY!!! I SO didn't get this movie, and why the FUCK was it funny?!!! The scenes where he gets the hookers and plays music and tells them about it (Phil Collins and Genesis etc) are SO FUCKING FUNNY, but if i wanted to see a comedy i would've rented one! Stupid film that didn't make any sense. Are there actually people out there that are THAT CRAZY?!! Doubt it.

Thanks, screamer. "The Minus Man" is an exercise is subtly. There is absolutely nothing overt about it (there's not even any on screen violence). But that movie stuck with me for days after I saw it. Definitely a movie that creeps up on you and doesn't let go.

Okay, can someone please tell me why everyone hates Bless The Child so much? I thought it was a decent movie. I seem to be the only one who thinks so.

Well, on a personal level, I was offended by it. It advances Christian propoganda by suggesting that everything non-Christian - atheism, humanism, the Druidic religion, etc. - are machinations of the forces of evil. Bullshit.
Second, I just didn't think it was a very good movie. Why does the villian act like Dr. Evil every time he tries to kill the herione? Why did the Vatican excommunicate a priest (Ian Holms) for believing in the devil? Why doesn't Christina Ricci's character just tell Kim Basinger what's going on? She might have saved a lot of hassle if she'd actually explain what was going on rather than saying vague things like, "She special," and "Don't let them get her." Special how? Don't let who get her? And even though it does seem to take Christian theology seriously, it makes lunkheaded errors. For instance, the number most associated with the holy Cody is the number six - she was born on the sixth, and her powers come to fruition in her sixth year. But wait a minute. The number six is usually associated with who? Hmmm...
Beyond that, the acting was poor, the writing was terrible (the conversation at the beginning between Basinger and her sister could have been penned by Nigel Exposition - the two sisters break the law of verisimilitude by explaining things the other should already know). The "miracles" were decidedly non-awe-inspiring. In fact, the whole movie just seems dashed off in a curt and functional way as though director Chuck Russell was only interested in relaying pertinent information without bothering to engage the audience emotionally or intellectually. And the climax was about the biggest fizzle I've seen in years.
So there you have it, IMHO.

Wow it's so funny how time can change you! I just read one of my old posts totally slagging off AMERICAN PSYCHO! Well now I ABSOLUTELY ADORE IT!!!! It's a brilliant film. Still haven't changed my mind about THE SIXTH SENSE! Pure shit! And I haven't seen HANNIBAL but saw RED DRAGON (I know what a dumbass to watch this first!). That was average. I guess it's how non slasher fans feel every time they watch a slasher. Seen it all before.
Apart from those two I totally agree with ANTONIOS list. Every movie he's listed is quality. STIR OF ECHOES should not be overlooked as a rip off of that horrible film I won't mention!

Well.....I can`t but them in any order....but really good movies were:
SLEEPY HOLLOW
THE SIGNS
THE SIXTH SENSE
HELLRAISER: INFERNO
SCREAM (pretty good.... but I wouldn`t definetly but any of the Scream movies to the top of my list)
THE RING
STIR OF ECHOES
RESIDENT EVIL
DARK CITY
BLAIR WITCH PROJECT
BLAIR WITCH 2
Comments to other lists:
SCREAM one....ok
SCREAM 2 .....well was kinda good too, but SCREAM 3.... I can`t possibly imagine why anybody would put it to their top 10.... too boring and too dislikeable characters FOR ME
JASON X .....pretty good...but still not in my Top 10
THE 6TH SENSE and SLEEPY HOLLOW..... cant understand people, who list them in the suckfest.....

I cant help it...I prefere slashers to thrillers...also the reason I didnt like Hannibal was because I read the book and I just couldnt forgive the movie for ending the way it did!!!
Also whats wrong with Cut??? I mean I think Im the only one who liked Final Stab...but Cut...come on It had Kylie Minogue in it!!!

Halloween H20 Great story that ends with a great finale.
Halloween Resurrection I liked the entertaining sequel.
Sleepy Hollow Full of style, grace, and story. I loved it!
Session 9 Scary as hell. Very atmospheric. Great film.
Resident Evil Very underrated. Good story. Kick ass ending. Lots of style.
The Ring Very scary! Awesome remake.
Final Destination Entertaining and fun. I liked the darkness and at time comedy of death.
Jeepers Creepers Great new killer, when he had coat and hat on. But overall...I think its great.
Joy Ride Comedy and horror mixed purfectly. Good acting and suspence.
Hellraiser Inferno Although alot was absent with past Hellraser movies...it was still great.
Runners up include Scream, Halloween 6, Cut, Cherry Falls..and a lot more, but I cant remember.
