Bernard Herrmann's "shrieking violins" score during the PSYCHO shower scene. Also, John Carpenter's eerie HALLOWEEN score. These are the two best in the horror genre.

I just rented BW2 on DVD, which comes with the soundtrack, and I have to say the composer did a fantastic job with the score.

Seriously, the one most creepy soundtrack ever is the one to the horror game Silent Hill... it filled up with eerire sounds, it scares the crap out of me even in broad daylight. Only problem is it's only published in Japan, so it's pretty hard to get, and expensive as well... try downloading some tracks of it on Napster, I have them all... my nick is my_moocow, so browse my files.

I reckon the theme to Child's Play. The next three all started with really cheesy kiddy music or heavy rock, but the first one had an excellent theme, all serious and everything. Saying that, the video trailer had a weird rap thing called, "Chucky Animation Theme". I can't fid that anywhere. Any ideas?
