Dario Argento NOT overrated.

I had asked a question about him being overrated awhile back after watching the cut version of Susperia. Well i have to say after watching the uncut dvds of Inferno and Deep red in 5.1 sound he's quite amazing. Phantom of the Opera is next even though i have seen some negative reviews.

Dario Argento and Mario Bava are the two best Italian horror filmmakers ever! Even if their movies' stories aren't the greatest, at least you'll be visually stimulated. Their visual style has yet to be matched by other foreign directors of the genre, and they (along with Hitchcock) have "inspired" the likes of John Carpenter and Brian DePalma, especially in their earlier films (HALLOWEEN and CARRIE, just to name a few).
