I really like the alien movies and since the first one i'm a fan of the alien designer H.R. Giger.He's such a good designer and he made such cool aliens for the movies.The design of Sil in species 1&2 is also very cool.I also have a lot of respect for Tom Woodruff Jr.Are there any other fans of h.r. giger who have something to say about him?

I own all 4 alien movies also.
The first Species was a pretty good flick, but it had some flaws. The alien effects were well done.

I'm a big fan of Giger's work. I have "Necronomicon" which contains the painting that inspired the Alien.

Speaking of Giger, many, many moons ago in the early 80s a script for a movie called "The Tourist" was written, and Giger was doing the designs for the aliens. It never got made, but I was wondering if anyone might know if the script is still floating around out there? I'd love to read it.

HR Giger also worked on the special effects on Poltergeist II The Other Side (1986) so he is great in my book!

Even if he didn't participate in the work of the Alien, he would still be on of the most ennovating artists in the world. I love his work, but as like neo I tried to get some of his work in bookform, now I just freeze the scene where Kane lowers down in to the spaceship and look at it. I guess everybody here who owns the Alien series has seen that documentary about him? It's on one of the four discs.. Great stuff.
