- The first murder in Urban Legends. I thought "this could be a pretty cool movie", it wasn't, but that one scene in the bathup was great.

- The Boiler-Room massacre in "Hellraiser 3". It's one of the best scenes in the whole Hellraiser series, too bad the rest sucked.

- "Death by Elevator" in "Halloween H20". That movie could use more scenes like that.

- The Critters playing Dart, throwing their stings dart-like on an annyoing character's dress in "Critters 3". The only time this movie made me smile.

- The last 15 minutes in "Jason Takes Manhatten". The finale was pretty silly, but the Mahatten scenes were great.

- A rope cuts in into the Hand of a young woman in "Mother's Day". I remember hating that movie when I saw it ( quite a while ago ) but I remember that one nasty scene.

Do you remember any other points of merit in bad movies?

The opening credits of IKWYDLS with that long sweep over a dark and raging ocean while Type O Negative's rendition of "Summer Breeze" plays on the soundtrack. If the movie had ended after that I would have gone home contented.

Another cool scene in "Hellraiser III" is the hospital scene at the very beginning. Doctors and paramedics rush a guy in on a gurney. Bloody chain are dragging behind him. A great WTF moment that proves the power of suggestion is sometimes better.

I always try to find something good no matter how bad.

Halloween 5
Michael chasing Jamie in the car through a field.
The last 1/2 hour, Michael chasing Jamie in the Myers house, especialy in the chute.

Nice call on Hellraiser 3 Night Watchman It had some good moments. Another was the vietnam flashbacks with Joey's father.

Well, I really wouldn't call this a good scene, but it's one that makes this movie, that I find to be incredibly awful, worth viewing. I'm talking about TCM 4 when they show my honey, Marilyn Burns, and the other two members of the original cast - Paul Partain and John Dugan. It's not really what you meant in your title, but it's still a scene, and in my book, the only decent one, in this awful flick.

House On Haunted Hill has an excellent scene of a girl taping an empty room, but while she's taping it, some doctors and nurses are showing on the camera, then they all stop doing what they're doing and look at her. The rest of the movie is pure crap.

One of the scariest scenes I've ever seen is featured in the really bad NIGHTWATCH, starring Ewan McGregor of TRAINSPOTTING fame as a mortuary night watchman. There is a "panic button" that is pressed during Ewan's watch by one of the corpses who isn't really dead...scared the fucking hell outta me!

I agree with Green... the scene in HALLOWEEN 5 with Michael driving the car after Jamie through the field, I found quite suspenseful...

The fact that it was followed by the glorious (and not a second too soon) death of TINA. I thought it was cool, however shit her character was, the way she did all she could to save Jamie, was redeeming.
